On October 25, 2023, it was co-organized by the Chinese Cultural Center in Athens, the Business Confucius Institute at the University of Economics and Business in Athens, the CHINESE HELLENIC CULTURAL & ART EXCHANGE ASSOCIATION, and the General Association of Overseas Chinese in Greece，the "Silk Road and Ulysses Journey " opened at the MIN Art Center in Athens.

This exhibition displays a total of 25 works (groups) from the "Faces", "Relics" and "Myths" series created by Wang Lei's "Walking Painting".
This is also the first appearance of Wang Lei's "Walking Painting" creation in Europe.

Counselor Wang Ying of the Chinese Embassy in Greece, Director Ren Ren of the Chinese Cultural Center in Athens, Mayor of Alimos in Athens, Greece, Chairman of the Greek-China Economic Cooperation Chamber of Commerce and former Chairman of the Athens City Council, as well as Greek art collectors and art curators Nearly 200 people including representatives from the industry and people from China and Greece attended the opening ceremony.

Artist Wang Lei said that the works in this exhibition place creation in a long-span space-time connection and broad travel, showing the exploration of traditional and contemporary painting expressions from an independent perspective at the moment. This exhibition is not only a summary of the walking painting in the past few years, but also a new beginning to restart the creation of the European section of the walking painting.
